Snapshot No. 645-649

649. Kusu berries

Kusunoki Kusu (camphor) berries at a nearby street.

In summer, these are green and tend to be lost in the leaves.

In autumn, they become black as in the photo, and are the favorite of the kiji-bato, muku, hiyo.

The word kusu remind us of the insecticide, shou-nou (camphor ball),

and of the shou-nou derived cardiac stimulant, though the latter is not used today.

There is a word called "kanfuru-zai" meaning "revitalizing things".

This word "kanfuru" is said to come from the shou-nou in Dutch language, "kamfer".

Despite the fact that the "kanfuru-zai" or "kamfer drug" has become not used in the medical field, the meaning of its efficacy has been handily used in the society in general.

Well, there is no denial for a possibility that someday it ends up a dead word.

648. A morning walk

Jiro sanpo The usual morning walk at the usual square.

Jiro is in high spirits on the fluffy fallen leaves.

647. "Bravo" effect

Touden kW graph Today's world-cup telecast was at an early hour.

Assuming the early morning event makes the power-demand variation clearer, I cheked the data of the Electrical Japan.

Attached is the combined data of Tokyo Power.

The yellow line of the upper graph is the actual demand up to 10:00 this morning. The lower graph is for that of yesterday.

Sure enough, the demand bobbed up around 4 o'clock.

646. Acorns 2

Okame donguri Made the kunugi's acorns into charm straps in the same manner as the previous ones of sira-kasi.

Although, kunugi's acorns are much larger than those of sira-kasi as in the photo, they too look cutely.

645. The 3rd-day moon

Mikaduki Tonight's moon. At the usual square in front of my place.

Of course, in reality, it does not look like this.

Two shots of wide and telephoto lenses are combined.

As mentioned before, there exists this type of fake photo, it is necessary to pay attention when we see photos, regardless of moving or still images.
